Trump’s Win: The Prophetic Background Part 1

Trump’s Win: The Prophetic Background Part 1

Last Updated on December 1, 2024 10:12 PM by herald

Although he has not yet been officially installed as the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump’s path to the 2024 presidency is no less than mind-blowing.

For some, the Never Trumpers and self-appointed Moral Judges of All, Trump’s passage to the White House in 2024 is mind-boggling; they are still trying to understand how he could win despite his moral flaws and how “they” – the DNC and the woke media – could “lose” despite their self-made righteousness.

The answer to Trump’s win lies not in slick marketing. There was much of that in this campaign but most of it was handed to him on a platter, by the other side.

The answer lies in Trump’s divine appointment. You cannot help seeing the hand of God in Trump’s win.  The closer you look, the more it becomes evident.

Like all of us, Trump is just a man, a mere mortal, a man with flaws. But the God of the Bible is not what many perceive him to be: a vengeful God just waiting to pounce on sinners. The God we know is full of compassion and understanding. This is what He declares of himself :

This is basic truth we often forget when we sit in judgement on others. But what we overlook, very often to our confusion and peril sometimes, is this weightier matter:

You read that right! Despite the theological problems this might pose to some, God is the one who raises up and deposes rulers whether they be kings, queens, caesars, presidents, prime ministers or czars. If we study the scripture faithfully, we should not be surprised at this because even the wicked are in God’s scheme of things:

The LORD works out everything to its proper end— even the wicked for a day of disaster.  Proverbs 16:4

God’s superior wisdom; his counsel and sound judgment, insight and strength are what allow him to appoint people – people we might not accept – to fulfil his purposes (Proverbs 8:14).

Abrham is called a friend of God. But he was definitely not perfect. For one, he caved into his wife’s demand regarding Hagar their servant thus creating a “family feud” that continues even to today. See Genesis chapter 16 and 21.  What we need to do is follow Jesus’ advice in Luke 6:37 which can be found here. The conclusion we can draw then is this:

If God did not use imperfect people, very little good would get done on the earth!

With that as background, we invite you to review the major prophecies about Donald Trump and how they have been fulfilled. There is much to learn from this unique event in modern human history and in the coming weeks and months, we will be devoting editorial space to examining those lessons.

In this first part, we feature the work of two of the most respected prophets of our time: Kim Clement and Amanda Grace.
